Version 4.1 appears to be very stable — I haven’t received any significant bug reports for a couple weeks now. Next up is waiting for my beta key to check out the new calendar in WotLK to see if Group Calendar has a post-expansion future.

Getting settled into the house is still taking a lot of time, but here’s the next build of Group Calendar 4.1. This one fixes one general bug which happened when someone was sending you an update but the update got corrupted somehow. Instead of simply re-requesting the update previous versions were throwing up an “internal error” message. This could account for at lease a few cases of people not getting up-to-date events/attendance data.
New in this version is a Russian translation courtesy of StingerSoft and an update to the French translation which makes transmute cooldown detection work again, courtesy of Ekhurr. Thanks both of you!
Looks like 4.2.6b3 fixed the problem of spellcast interruption without any problems, so here it is again re-branded as 4.2.6 final.
I’ve gotten reports (thanks TigaFIN :) that *some* spells aren’t affected by equipment changes. I’ll start collecting a list of those spells and add exceptions for them to the detection/suppression code. So far I’m told that mounting up and evocate do not get interrupted by equipment changes. Let me know if you find others, but for now 4.2.6 doesn’t make any exceptions.
Went to Mt. Hyjal tonight and discovered a couple bugs in the spellcast detection. One was that other player’s spellcasts would get misinterpreted as your own and cause outfits to stop switching, the other was that failing to conjure an item (mana emerald, healthstone) because you already had one would not be detected and get Outfitter stuck as well. Here’s 4.2.6b3 which fixes both issues.
Detecting when a player starts and ends a spellcast was tricky and I’d added several diagnostic messages to help me in getting the detection right. Unfortunately I forgot to remove those before zipping up the previous build >.< Here's the same build, but without all those chat window messages.
With the latest patch Blizzard has changed it so that equipment changes during a spellcast will interrupt that spellcast. Because of this I’ve removed the “unequip on spellcast” option from the riding outfit and also have added code to ensure that Outfitter won’t do gear swaps while you’re casting a spell. This should make things work properly when you cast while mounted or for druids who cast a heal causes them to shapeshift. I’m releasing it as beta for now because the detection of when you are or aren’t casting is a little goofy so I want people to understand that it *might* not work correctly. I’ve tested it for about an hour using my mage and things seem to be working like they should.
It’s been over a month since 4.1b3 but not a lot has changed. Finally settling into the new house, got internet and phone (yay!), now we just have to finish moving our junk and then get the old house ready to put on the market.
This build fixes a bug which would cause “You are not in a guild” messages to appear after you leave a guild which used GC. There may still be some other times when that message appears (I’ve seen it on logout for example) so I’ll keep looking for that cause.
This also adds support for the Blizzard Time Manager by right-clicking the minimap clock/time-of-day indicator.
Missed yet another typo this time in 4.2.4. This is a very minor fix and corrects a problem when using the Trinket Queue script under English and German versions (somehow I managed to not make the same typo in the French localization)
Missed a typo in 4.2.3, though I’m not sure why it wasn’t giving me any error messages while I played. Thank you to devilcat for pointing out the mistake.
This one is just a bugfix build, though there’s a new file (I’ve started working on the advanced outfit generation stuff for Outfitter 5) so you’ll have to restart WoW to upgrade to this. The biggest bug fixed is that the outfit menus are now 16 items long, which avoids WoW’s tainting bug in the menu system. Most people never noticed this, but if you ever lead a raid and wondered where the “set main tank/assist” items were in your raid window menu, that was probably the cause. Eventually I’ll replace the Blizzard menu code with my own to avoid the problem altogether. Click the “read the rest” link to see the complete change list for this build.
