Full Moon 3.2.1A user pointed out that the features of the moon in my display didn’t match the actual moon, and he was right! Somewhere along the way I rotated my moon image and messed that up. It still showed the correct phase, but if you wanted to know which parts were visible and which weren’t it was wrong. Here’s 3.2.1 which corrects that problem!
Full Moon 3.2Friday the 7th was a New Moon but Full Moon 3.1 didn’t circle the date! I assumed the moon’s cycle is less wobbly than it turns out to be, so now I’ve got a real moon phase calculation based on Jean Meeus’ Astronomical Algorithms book. It correctly circles 2008 March 7th as well as all the other dates I checked.
Full Moon 3.1Now with 14% more shadow and 135% more moon! Also adds a sidereal sky map I drew which helps you remember what the sidereal times mean.
Oops, Full Moon 3.0.1This is a minor update which fixes an issue with the previous archive file as well as an issue which prevented the “rotate 180″ feature to not work.
